Nitza Horner is a teaching artist and freelance educator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She reaches out to schools, shelters, hospitals, and day centers. Using a multi-sensory approach, she empowers the viewer to observe, respond learn and connect. Nitza is the creator/leader of a unique program entitled “Paint the Music”,where integrated audiences create original artwork inspired by live jazz. As a sculptor, she works in stone, concrete, plaster, clay and mixed media. Welcome!
