Nitza Horner is a teaching artist and freelance educator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She teaches art in schools, shelters, hospitals, and many other nonprofit organizations. She leads her own program titled “Paint the Music,” a unique multi-media program where integrated audiences create original artwork inspired by live jazz.
A sculptor, she works in stone, concrete, plaster, and clay.
